How We Work

A process built
for great outcomes.

Five deliberate phases. Every project follows them. No shortcuts, no surprises — just great work delivered with clarity and confidence.

01
Phase One

Discovery & Research

Every project starts with deep listening. We conduct structured interviews with your team and — where possible — real users of your product or service. We audit your competitive landscape, review your existing assets, and map the gap between where you are and where you need to be. This phase produces a shared brief that aligns everyone before a single pixel is placed.

02
Phase Two

Strategy & Direction

Insight becomes intent. We translate everything from discovery into a creative strategy — defining positioning, tone of voice, visual direction, and target audience behaviour. We present a Creative Direction deck that sets the visual and strategic parameters for all work that follows. Your approval here means we both know exactly what success looks like.

03
Phase Three

Design & Iteration

This is where ideas become tangible. We explore multiple creative directions, then focus and refine until the work is exceptional. Feedback is structured into defined revision rounds to maintain creative momentum and avoid drift. We use collaborative tools so you can comment directly on designs in context — no more emailing screenshots back and forth.

04
Phase Four

Build & Test

Approved designs move into production. Our developers build with semantic HTML, optimised assets, and clean architecture — ensuring performance scores that keep Google happy and users even happier. We run cross-browser and cross-device testing, accessibility audits, and load-time optimisation before anything goes live. Quality assurance isn't a last step — it runs throughout.

05
Phase Five

Launch & Support

We don't disappear at handoff. Every project includes a structured launch period with daily check-ins, a post-launch monitoring window, and a knowledge-transfer session so your team can own the work confidently. Studio and Enterprise clients get extended support retainers to keep the work performing as well at month six as it did on day one.

Common Questions

It depends on scope. A brand identity alone is typically 4–6 weeks. A full brand and website project runs 10–16 weeks. We always provide a project timeline during scoping so you know exactly what to expect before we start. We don't rush — but we also don't miss deadlines.
We cap ourselves at four active projects at any one time. This means your project gets a dedicated team and full creative bandwidth — not a fraction of a distracted studio's attention. We'd rather turn work away than dilute quality.
Revisions are structured into defined rounds at the end of each phase — not an open-ended loop. Starter projects include 2 rounds, Studio projects include 3, and Enterprise engagements are unlimited. Clear feedback deadlines keep momentum high and scope creep at bay.
Yes — some of our best work has been for founders building their first brand. We look for clarity of vision and seriousness about craft, not just budget size. If you're an early-stage team with ambitious design goals, reach out. We can often find a scope that works.
You do. On final payment, full intellectual property transfers to the client — all source files, working files, code repositories, and exported assets. We retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed, which we discuss up front for sensitive projects.
